As Logan comes up on 5 months of age, he has hit some new milestones!
*Dec. 24 -- Logan rolled for the first time from his back to his stomach!
*Dec. 27 -- Logan rolled for the first time from his stomach to his back!
*Jan. 6 -- (The day after Liesl and Logan's 40 hour trip from Missouri to Alice) Logan's first tooth popped
through (his lower front tooth)! Also, Logan continuously rolled over and over all the way across the living room.
*Jan. 8 -- Logan got his hair trimmed for the first time!
*Jan. 12 -- Logan's second tooth popped through!
Logan loves standing these days. He barely needs help now, just a watchful hand from Mom or Dad so
he doesn't topple over (these pictures were taken -- with a hand rushing to help balance him shortly after!) His favorite
toys are his crinkly book, a rolling rattle and stacking cups, a toy football hung up so he can bat at it, and any fleshy
human part to chew on (especially his big toe)! Logan drools non-stop these days.
As for sleeping patterns--do you really want to know? Unlike our friend's 3 month old who sleeps 8
hours without waking, Logan still gets up several times to nurse in the night. His longest stretch of sleep has been
6 hours, but he's only done that a few times. And his jet lag certainly hasn't helped any. His days and nights
are slowly getting switched around, but (YAWN) Mom and Dad are dragging!
*Jan. 14-- Logan starts drinking from a sippy cup about once a day. He begged for it!
*Jan. 23--Logan gets his first taste of rice cereal + Mama milk.
Logan is getting stronger and stronger every day! He loves sitting on Mom's lap and likes
to hit the keyboard too!
